The massive DJ line up for the hottest party of the year has just been announced, and after selling out in record time last year this one is on track to bigger and better in every way.
We're getting down to the business end of the year. We hope you're enjoying your "Summer" so far, here's some good news to brighten up your day. The party of the year, Get Together on New Year's Day at Cruise Bar, has just gotten even bigger with the announcement of INAYA DAY performing a full production show, plus an intimate acoustic performance.
The American powerhouse diva will be flying in to perform her massive international hits like "Nasty Girl", "The Glamorous Life", "I Am Tha 1" and more in a full stage production at sunset on Sydney Harbour. Can it get any better than that?
Get Together features three levels at Cruise Bar, each with their own distinctive flavour. At the very top of the Overseas Passenger Terminal is the Sun Decade - a musical journey through the last ten years of music where, for the first time, all the DJs at Get Together will be popping up to play some of their favourite tracks from the past decade in the glorious sunshine on the rooftop terrace. Featuring an exclusive stripped-back acoustic performance by Inaya Day of some of her classics like "Horny" and "Breakway", there is no better place to ring in the new year than the penthouse level of Cruise Bar on January 1 overlooking all of Sydney Harbour.
Move down a level and you'll enter Cabin Fever. This is the place to get down and dirty, to bump and grind your way into 2012 with the hottest pumping electro tunes in town. DJs Mike Kelly (direct from Berlin), Sista P and Chip will be steering the ship in this stunning glass enclosed dancefloor that feels like it's floating on the edge of the water.
Lastly, and certainly not the least, the massive ground floor terrace featuring indoor and outdoor dancefloor will be known as Sea Level. This is the engine of Get Together, the heaving space where DJs like Kitty Glitter, Adam Love, GI Jode, Jake Kilby and Cunningpants and more will be ringing in the first day of the best year of your life with all your favourite house, electro and disco party anthems. This will also be the setting for Inaya Day to bring the house as the sun sets on NYD.
Get Together runs from 3pm to 11:30pm on January 1 at Cruise Bar and includes live roving entertainment, shows, massive production, surprises and three levels of fun. Tickets are selling quickly and available for $55 plus booking fee from www.moshtix.com.au while stocks last.
